A cause of death for "Sister Wives" alum Garrison Brown, who died in March at the age of 25, has been revealed.
Brown died of a gunshot wound to the head, according to an autopsy report obtained by USA TODAY from the Coconino County Health and Human Services Medical Examiner's Office. The manner of death was ruled a suicide.
In addition to the gunshot wound, ethanol intoxication (aka alcohol poisoning) was listed as a "significant condition" contributing to Brown's death. His blood alcohol level (BAC) was 0.307% according to an iliac blood analysis and 0.370% per a vitreous analysis. A BAC over 0.40% is considered "potentially fatal," according to Cleveland Clinic.
Flagstaff Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Jerry L. Rintala confirmed Brown's death to USA TODAY in an emailed statement March 5. Officers discovered Brown "deceased as a result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound."
Rintala said there was no indication of foul play in Brown's death.
